Agva
Agva, is a pretty holiday resort definitely worth seeing. If you have stopped by this village during the hot season, do not neglect to hire a motorboat to leave the river and sail on the open sea.
You are about to embark on a delightful experience… On a tour you will start at the Kitimli Cove when you turn your helm from the Agva Lighthouse towards Kerpeyou will admire certain coastal formations.
Collaborating with the wind, the waves have created caves, islands and monuments by drilling holes in the rocks on the shores. There is only one single monumental rock, which has been able to resist the waves until now: the Bride’s Rock.
Looking equally magnificent from the sea, as well as the land, this rock looks as though it were a shepherd. Called the “Bride’s Rock” since it is white in color, the rock really is reminiscent of a bride in a white wedding gown.
As a nostalgic fishing village, you have the choice at Agva to go a garden to eat a meal in, or one of the restaurants close to the seashore or established on one of the creeks. At Agva you may also buy fish, which have been caught fresh from the sea and placed immediately on the counters.
