Black Sea region
The Turkish Black Sea region (Turkish Kara Deniz Bölgesi) is a geographical region of Turkey. This region represents approximately 18.1% of the Turkish state territory dar. Covering an area of 141,000 square km occupied land in the comparison of the seven regions 3 Square.

This region officially exist after the geography Congress in 1941 in Ankara and is geographically part in the 3 regions or areas divided. These are:

Population
According to the People’s counting in 2000, the population of 8,439,213 (5), and the population density of 59.9 inhabitants per square km (TR-country: 88.25 inhabitants per square km). 49% (4,137,166) of the population live in cities and 51% (4,301,747) in the country. The annual population growth of 0365%.
